Colony Flow! Level 449 Walkthrough
IntermediateHow to clear Colony Flow! Level 449
Colony Flow! Level 449 is a spread-out board built around the Lime and Yellow pairs — a busier layout where one wrong line can seal two colors out. Most failed runs here happen in the first three moves, so the order below matters more than speed.
- 1
Survey the Lime lines
Find every Lime and Yellow pixel before touching anything. A quick scan of where the Lime corridor can go decides the whole board.
- 2
Open with the ${corner} corner
Start by dragging the Lime pair in the top-right corner home. That line never blocks another color, and it frees the edge so the inner routes stay open.
- 3
Route the ${b} pair before it seals
Watch the Yellow pixels crossing the Lime route near the left side. Clear the Yellow pair first — if the Lime line seals that corridor early, the Yellow pair is cut off and the run restarts.
- 4
Clear the long edge routes
Edge lines never need the center. Take them while the board is still open, then check the Yellow pair is still reachable before moving on.
- 5
Re-check the ${a} path
After the edge work, Lime usually has one clear lane left. Trace it mentally — if another color has grown into it, undo one step instead of forcing it.
- 6
Finish the center last
Settle the inner pairs once the edges are done. The center needs the most open space, so it always goes last on a intermediate board like this one.
Pro tips for Colony Flow! Level 449
Outside in
Handle outer pairs first, then move inward. It prevents inner pixels from being blocked and works for almost every stage.
Mind the Lime corridor
Do not let the Lime line fill a corridor completely — the Yellow pair needs to cross it later on this board. Leave one open cell.
Reset when lost
If you have made four or more moves without a clear plan for Yellow, restart. A fresh board is faster than salvaging a tangled state.
